WOLF Girls: Keri

Who is your favorite country artist?  Why?
Gosh, there’s just so many, but I’m going to have to go with female - Carrie Underwood.  She is just amazing.  She is a beautiful person, and her voice reminds me of the infamous Martina McBride.  After winning over all of the country on American Idol, she went on to win female artist of the year at the CMA’s in her first year – truly inspirational.  Plus, she has a great name.  I also love Phil Vassar.  He is an amazing song-writer, and carried through with his passion for the piano into the country world which was virtually unheard of.  Plus, he is extremely entertaining (especially in live shows)!

What is your favorite country song?  Why?

Hands down, it's Trace Adkins’ “Honkeytonk Badonkadonk!"  I know, me along with everybody else, but my friends all know it as my song.  It’s fun, energetic, and entertaining, much like myself, which also makes it fun to dance to.

If you could visit any place in the world, where would you go?
Anywhere in Europe!  The architecture and history there is absolutely incredible and I would just love to see it first-hand.

Most prized possession:

That would have to be my family.  I am lucky to have such a close-knit family and siblings for best friends.

Where you want to be in five years:

Being that I’m on the twelve year plan at school, I would like to be more than halfway done with my degree, and hopefully looking at children in the near future.

Favorite movie:

Definitely, Miss Congeniality.  I love Sandra Bullock, and everyone tells me that she reminds them of me in that movie, being a huge clutz and all.  I love anything that makes me laugh.

Worst pick-up line used on you:
The guy actually licked his finger and wiped it on me and said, “You look wet, why don’t we get you out of those clothes."  I ended up talking to the guy cause it made me laugh so hard.

If you could sneak backstage at any concert, whose would if be? Why?
I’m not necessarily one of those star-struck people, but I think that Carrie Underwood or Miranda Lambert would be fun to hang out with and talk to.  They just seem like young, fun girls that would have a lot to say about the music world and how their lives have changed.

Are the Denver Police being demonized by the media?
  Yes.
  No.
