A family visiting from Texas was enjoying a hike on a beautiful trail near Durango when they had to call flight for life to save their lives from two mountain lions that had been stalking them. The couple had a 11 month old child that continued to cry as they were backed into a corner. They used sticks and bushes to keep them at bay until flight for life was able to easily spot them and land. Thank goodness the family was rescued.
Colorado Wildlife said to carry bear spray as a deterrent to mountain lions.
